CONGREGATIONAL LIFE COMMITTEE

  • Chair: Sue Leader

Most Recent CLC Report:

September’s tailgate congregational dinner was a wonderful success with forty plus in attendance coming together to enjoy several different kinds of sliders along with salads, relish tray, chips, grilled onions, meatballs….so many choices! For dessert there were brownies and apple dumplings. Many thanks to chef James Griffin and his crew of helpers for this very enjoyable evening!

The next event planned is our annual Church Picnic set for Sunday, October 8th at 5:30 p.m. The meat and beverages will be provided by the church which will be chicken strips and ham. Those attending areasked to bring a side dish or dessert to share as well as your lawn chair. We will gather on the church lawn (weather permitting) for this fun time of food and fellowship.

ALSO as a part of this picnic event, there will a silent auction of handcrafted items to benefit the Mission & Outreach Committee’s work. Some items have already been brought to the church office and will
be on display in the hallway outside the office beginning October 1. Bidding can begin then, but will culminate at the picnic when all items are due for display and for silent bidding! Come one, come all!
